Removal
System Cover
Identify the system cover highlighted in blue.
Using a flat head or a Phillips screwdriver, rotate the lock counterclockwise to the unlock position.
Lift the release latch until the system cover slides back.
Lift the cover from the system.
Airshroud
Backplane Cover
Identify the drive backplane cover highlighted in blue
Slide and lift the drive backplane cover in the direction of the arrows marked on the drive backplane cover.
Cooling Fan Cage Assembly
Identify the cooling fan cage assembly highlighted in blue.
Lift the blue release levers to unlock the cooling fan cage assembly from the system.
Hold the release levers, and lift the cooling fan cage assembly away from the system.
Control panel - Right
Identify the control panel highlighted in blue
Remove the screws that secure the control panel cable cover to the system
Remove the cable cover away the system.
Remove the screws that secure the control panel assembly to the system.
Press the tab to release the side wall bracket cover.
Disconnect the right control panel and the VGA cables from the connectors on the system board.
Unroute the control panel and VGA cables from the side wall of the system.
Holding the cable, slide the right control panel out of the system.
Install
Control panel - Right
Identify the control panel location highlighted in blue
Align the right control panel assembly with the slot and slide into place
Route the control panel and VGA cables through the side wall of the system.
Connect the right control panel and VGA cables to the connectors on the system board.
Close the side wall bracket cover with your thumbs until the cover firmly clicks into place.
Install the screws to secure the control panel to the system.
Align and slide the right control panel cable cover in the slot on the system.
Install the screws to secure the control panel cable cover to the system.
Cooling Fan Cage Assembly
Identify the cooling fan cage assembly location highlighted in blue.
Align the guide rails on the cooling fan cage assembly with the standoffs on the system.
Lower the cooling fan cage assembly into the system until the cooling fan cage connectors engage with the connectors on the system board.
Press the release levers to lock the cooling fan cage assembly into the system.
Backplane Cover
Identify the drive backplane cover location highlighted in blue
Align the drive backplane cover with the guide slots on the system.
Slide the drive backplane cover to the front of the system until the drive backplane cover fits into place.
Airshroud
System Cover
Identify the system cover location highlighted in blue.
Align the tabs on the system cover with the guide slots on the system and slide the system cover.
Close the system cover release latch.
Using a flat head or Phillips screwdriver, rotate the lock clockwise to the lock position.
